Three people involved in drug trafficking are extradited to Italy

Three people involved in drug trafficking have been extradited from Albania to Italy. They are accused of being involved in drug trafficking.

Specifically, the following were arrested:

-Albert Koni, 51 years old, after the Turin Court, in 2025, sentenced him to approximately 4 and a half years in prison for the criminal offense of "Production and sale of narcotics". During 2017, he sold the narcotic substance Cocaine in public places in the Arona and Novara areas;

-RA, 21 years old, after the Court of Milan, in 2024, assigned the security measure "Arrest in prison", for the criminal offense of "Trafficking in narcotics", committed within the framework of a criminal organization. He is accused of being part of a criminal organization that trafficked large quantities of narcotics in Milan during the period 2022-2024;

-AF, 39 years old, after the Court of Genoa, in 2024, assigned the security measure "Arrest in prison", because he is accused, within the framework of the Italian Police's "COOK 2020" operation, of drug trafficking and illegal possession of weapons, committed within the framework of a criminal organization.
