"From home to the cemetery is our routine"/ Ilaria Sula's father confesses the pain after his daughter's murder

"From home to the cemetery is our routine"/ Ilaria Sula's father
Flamur Sula, the father of 22-year-old Albanian Ilaria Sula, who was brutally murdered by her ex-partner, has given a chilling interview to Italian media, where he recounted the incurable pain that has gripped the family after the loss of their daughter.

"It's an inexplicable pain. Our life now focuses on only one road: from home to the cemetery. Nothing else," he said sadly, emphasizing that the family is devastated and no longer sees any normality in daily life.

Sula indicated that she will not stop until she gets justice for her daughter, while calling on the Italian government to take strong measures to stop the ever-increasing phenomenon of violence against women.

" Girls are being killed for nothing. And this happens all the time. The government needs to do something, take strong measures. I don't know what these boys are reading or studying, but something is wrong ," he said.

Ilaria's father confessed that he had never been afraid for his daughter, as he considered her a strong and fair girl, but stressed that he now constantly talks to his 18-year-old son about the importance of respect and understanding boundaries in a relationship. "I tell him that if a girl says 'no', she means 'no'. If she leaves, you have to accept it," he said.

The serious incident of Ilaria's murder is not the only one of its kind. Just a few days ago, in Naples, another girl, 22-year-old Martina, was killed by her ex-partner. Regarding this, Sula says that any similar news brings him back to his personal nightmare. "It was like I was experiencing everything again," he said.

In the end, he categorically stated that there can be no forgiveness for the perpetrators of these crimes. " There can be no forgiveness for people who take the life of a girl. What happened is not an accident, it is a deliberate murder. It should not be acceptable, " he concluded.
