The Democratic Party has filed complaints regarding the results of the May 11 elections in three regions: Kukës, Dibër and Korçë. The Complaints and Sanctions Commission (KAS) will hold public hearings tomorrow, May 30, to review these requests.

The sessions will be held as follows:

10:00 AM - review of the complaint for the Kukës region
1:00 PM - review of the complaint for the Dibra region
3:00 PM - review of the complaint for the Korça region
The Democratic Party, through the coalition "Alliance for a Greater Albania", requests the invalidity of the elections in these areas and the repetition of the electoral process, opposing the CEC's decisions on the approval of the summary tables of results.

Details of the complaints:
Kukës – Requesting the reversal of the CEC decision No. 1309, dated 19.05.2025 and the repetition of the elections in the entire region.
Dibër – Requesting the reversal of the CEC decision No. 1314, dated 22.05.2025 and the repetition of the elections in this region.
Korçë – Requesting the reversal of the CEC decision No. 1315, dated 22.05.2025 and the development of a new electoral process in the Korçë region.


The Democratic Party claims serious irregularities in the electoral process that, according to it, directly influenced the final result. The KAS decision is awaited with interest, as it may affect the formation of the new composition of the Albanian Parliament.
