Vokshi from the CDI Assembly: Europe must react to the electoral farce of May 11

The deputy of the Democratic Party, Albana Vokshi, participated in the meeting of the General Assembly and the Executive Committee of the CDI (International Center-Right), where she raised concerns about the political situation in Albania and demanded a clear reaction from Europe to what she called an electoral farce in the May 11 elections.

In a statement to Syri TV, Vokshi stressed the importance of the forum organized by the CDI, where the Democratic Party aims to find support for its demand for a technical government, which would guarantee equal conditions for fair elections.

"This is a meeting of the Executive Committee and the General Assembly of the CDI. The CDI is made up of many right-wing parties. It was among the first organizations to react to the aggravated political situation in Albania," said Vokshi.
She added that the purpose of participating in this forum is to give voice to the concerns of Albanian citizens and unmask the propaganda of Edi Rama's government, which according to her "is fed by the money of corruption and organized crime."

"In this context, we will ask the CDI Executive Committee to take a position regarding the May 11 elections," Vokshi continued, adding that many CDI representatives had previously been to Albania and had seen closely the atmosphere of civic discontent.
Vokshi described this meeting as an opportunity to inform European partners on the latest political developments and to seek concrete interventions in support of democracy and the right of Albanian citizens to vote freely.
