Analyst Fatos Lubonja commented on the political situation in Himare. Lubonja emphasized that the municipalities that have been caught by crime should be merged.

 Invited to the show Open on News24, Lubonja said that Blerina Bala was elected as the mayor of Himara, as she was Goro's replacement and therefore, with her at the head of the municipality, the majority makes it possible "that the cards are not opened" in Himara .

"It is not morally right to choose Blerina Bala. Her choice is morally unjust because it was chosen by Jorgo Goro. In Italy there is a law, that if it is suspected that the municipality functions as a criminal organization, it is dissolved. The ladies decided not to reveal their cards. This is about collaboration with organized crime.

It is systematic in Albania that municipalities function as criminal organizations, rob land and cooperate with organized crime, and we are all supported by this money. Municipalities that have been caught by crime should be merged", stated Lubonja.
