Italian businessman Davide Pecorelli, whose car was found burned in Puka eight months ago, is alive.

He was found safe and sound in Tuscany eight months after he was declared missing. A burnt body was found inside his vehicle at the time, but it was not confirmed that it belonged to Pecorelli.

The reasons for the disappearance of the Italian businessman Davide Pecorelli are still unknown, but it is suspected that he staged the murder to avoid taxes and to obtain insurance, after he had come to Albania to sell equipment for beauty salons.

The news was confirmed in the Italian media, after Pecorelli talked on the phone with his ex-wife.

He was thought to have been killed in Albania, but was found yesterday off the coast of Livorno aboard a sunken boat near an island. 

The Italian entrepreneur has expressed his willingness to give his testimony to the Perugia prosecutor's office, to clarify all the details of the event.
