In the Palace of Brigades, the official reception of the 111th anniversary of independence was held. President Bajram Begaj delivered his speech where he emphasized the importance of the Albanian factor for maintaining stability in the Balkans.

While there was also a call for Albanian politicians. Referring to the violent scenes of Reestablishment MPs in the Assembly during the last weeks, Begaj called to work together for the benefit of the Albanians and not for confrontation in the Assembly.

"With the electoral reform, the vote of immigrants must be ensured. Albania is not built with indifference and passivity. I call on the representatives of the Albanians in the Assembly to sit down and work for an Albania that is ruled by the law. In your parliamentary life, be guided by the national interest, by respect and not by greed, and above all by responsibility for the future" , said the president.
