In search of attempted murder, the 23-year-old and his accomplice were arrested in Elbasan

A 23-year-old man was arrested in Elbasan, who was wanted for attempted murder.

As part of the coded police operation "The Plan", his accomplice ended up in handcuffs for not reporting the crime.

According to the police, on May 26, the young man wanted to kill a 24-year-old man convicted twice before, for criminal activity in the field of narcotics, with whom he had a previous conflict.

Wanted for attempted murder, as part of the coded police operation "The Plan", the 23-year-old is located, captured and put in handcuffs.

Another citizen was caught and put in handcuffs, for not reporting the crime.

The Crime Investigation Structures of the Elbasan Police Station, in cooperation with the operational services of the Elbasan Local Police Directorate, following the continuous research work for the capture of the main suspected author of an attempted murder in the city of Elbasan, as well as based in the police intelligence, they located, captured and put in handcuffs on "Tomorr Sinani" street, the citizen declared wanted BR, 23 years old, resident in Elbasan.

Together with the citizen of BR, the citizen E. Rr., 24 years old, resident in Elbasan, was arrested for the criminal offenses of "Abetment of the crime" and "Supporting the perpetrator of the crime". From the investigative actions, it is suspected that the citizen E. Rr, did not report the crime for the weapon and drugs found in the apartment of the citizen BB, arrested during the coded operation "Plan", carried out on 26.05.2023, and supported the citizen BR .

From the investigative actions so far, it is suspected that the 23-year-old man, on 26.05.2023, wanted to kill a 24-year-old man convicted twice before, for criminal activity in the field of narcotics, with whom he had a conflict before. The detained BR citizen, unable to carry out his plan to kill the 24-year-old, as a result of the pressure of increasing the services in the field, threw the firearm on the street and left.

On 26.05.2023, as part of this operation, the KS citizen (social connection of the BR citizen) was also declared wanted. The investigative structures of the Elbasan Police Station, in cooperation with the Prosecutor's Office, are continuing the investigations to fully clarify the involvement or not of this citizen in this event.

In the meantime, in-depth investigative actions continue for the clarification and complete documentation of this case.

The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecution at the Court of First Instance of Elbasan General Jurisdiction, for further actions.
