Pensioners in protest near the Prime Minister's Office: We demand a dignified increase in pensions
This Wednesday, pensioners have taken to the streets again to demand an increase in pensions, following their repeated protests near the Prime Minister's Office.
They are disappointed and angry by the delays in the indexation of pensions, which according to them does not reflect the high increase in prices.
This is the third protest in a month, with pensioners continuing to demand better living conditions and pensions that can cover living costs.
In previous protests, some of them have expressed that they feel desperate and that, instead of living with dignity, they are faced with the choice between leaving the country or a tough confrontation.
" Lied to by the government, abandoned by the media! Enough mockery, increase pensions. MPs 100% salary increase, pensioners 4.1%. We demand pension increase" , are some of their messages.
