Safet Bajri's interrogation ends, he is sent to the Security Block

Safet Bajri has completed his interrogation by the authorities and has been taken to the Security Block. Sources close to the investigators indicate that the interrogation session lasted several hours, while it is not yet known whether he has cooperated with the authorities in the ongoing investigations.

Bajri was arrested by SPAK order after RENEA Forces raids in Shkodra. He was captured in his apartment in Dobraç without resistance and was then escorted to Tirana by Special Forces.

He is accused of involvement in the 2018 murder of Fatbardh Lici, along with Astmer Bilal. Fatbardh Lici, 53, was executed on August 10, 2018, by a hail of bullets while he was in a cafe in the "Kiras" neighborhood of Shkodra. The perpetrators approached him in a "Benz" type vehicle without license plates and shot at him, leaving him dead on the spot.

Lici was the brother-in-law of Lulëzim Kulla, who survived a TNT attack in January 2018.

Investigations against Bajri continue, and authorities are expected to provide more details on the progress of the case.
