The police of Shkodra has issued a second communiqué regarding the incident that happened yesterday evening around 20:40 in the village of Postribë, where 43-year-old Çel Shabaj was wounded by a gunshot.

The Blues of the northern capital point out that there are three arrested in connection with this event, while three others are wanted.

Police notification:

More specifically, citizens Kristjan Kakija, 29 years old, Artan Kakija, 28 years old and Lulëzim Kakija, 24 years old, relatives of each other, were put in handcuffs. Meanwhile, the citizens of ZK, 28 years old, FL, 25 years old and A. Rr., 25 years old, are wanted.

The police report that the search continues for the capture of the three wanted citizens, as well as under the direction of the Shkodra Prosecutor's Office, the investigations continue to individualize the criminal responsibility of each of the citizens implicated in this case.

The procedural materials were passed to the Shkodra Prosecutor's Office for further action, for the criminal offenses of "Deliberate murder", remaining in the attempt, carried out in collaboration and "Unauthorized possession and production of weapons, explosive weapons and ammunition".

Sources say that Çel Shabaj was injured after a fight for trivial reasons. The 43-year-old was leaving his apartment in Postriba, as he was getting ready to go to a wedding. At that moment, the author Kristjan Kakija was coming from Prekali in the direction of Postriba together with two of his friends.

It is learned that when they faced each other, a debate started between them about who should cross the road first. According to sources, Kristjan Kakija, after leaving only a few meters, turned back again and pulled out a pistol, injuring the 43-year-old in the leg.

At that moment, other members of the Shabaj family, who were very close, intervened, as they were also getting ready to go to the wedding, getting involved in a physical fight between them.

A cousin of the wounded man managed to take the gun from the hand of the suspected perpetrator, who then left the scene.

The injured person was immediately sent to the regional hospital of Shkodra with an ambulance of the national emergency service and after the first aid provided by the doctors, his life is out of danger.
