The Tirana Police has issued an official announcement regarding the arrest of Alda Klos, former director of concessions in the Ministry of Finance several years ago and until July 2022, chief of staff of former Deputy Prime Minister Arben Ahmetaj.
The police clarify what are the three charges that burden Klos.
"Specialists of the Section for the Investigation of Money Laundering and Criminal Assets executed the order of the Prosecutor's Office of the Judicial District of Tirana and arrested the citizen AK (Ç), 41 years old, resident in Tirana, suspected of criminal offenses "Refusal to declare, do not declare, concealment or false declaration of assets, private interests of elected persons and public servants, or of any other person who has the legal obligation to declare", "Cleaning the proceeds of a criminal offense or chemical activity" and "False statement before the officer of the judicial police".
The materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office for further procedural actions.
