Opposition protest, Source: Success that mobilized not only the people, but also

Analyst Genc Burimi has evaluated the national protest held yesterday by the opposition.

For Syri Tv, Burimi said that the protest achieved two successes: firstly, it mobilized the citizens and secondly, it mobilized the internationals, as the news was echoed in the foreign media.

Among other things, Burimi added that for the first time, the international media wrote that "the protest was held for a technical government after the elections in Albania are stolen".

The analyst pointed out that there is a propaganda from the other side that tries to make the protest a failure.

"I saw two successful protests because they managed to mobilize people in Albania. But they reached and sensitized the media in the world. Because there was an immediate, simultaneous echo in many media, even across the Atlantic. And in my opinion, if these protests aim at the creation of a new government, the coalition, and for this government to have international recognition, it is important that it resonates abroad. And for me, this was a very important parameter because this time, finally, the foreign media also reported that the protesters in Albania are looking for a technical government because they denounce the theft of the elections.

This had not been seen before. The world media more often gave news such as they said about Salinaji that he was sentenced for a false report without going into details that the person who was denounced by Salinaji was real, a drug trafficker and convicted in Italy. That is, this time it really came out, it was really broadcast that in Albania the elections are stolen, that's why people no longer have faith and protest for a technical government. Which for me is a success. Thirdly, I want to say that I see a propaganda on the other side saying that it was a failure, or something like that. Things must be said in their context. It is impossible for the government to fall with a demonstration. In Bulgaria, which has become a tradition for people to stand up against corruption, there have been two important moments of mobilization, after Bulgaria's entry into the EU in 2007. There were demonstrations in 2013 that lasted 40 days, and now in 2020 ," said the source.
