Opposition protest, Police announcement about roads that will be blocked

The State Police has announced the axes of the roads that will be blocked tomorrow due to the opposition protest that will be held at 16.00 on the boulevard "Dëşmorët e Kombit", in Tirana.

"In the framework of the rally that will take place on 12.11.2022, at 16:00, on the boulevard "Martyrs of the Nation", in Tirana, the State Police, in order to guarantee order and security, before, during and after the end of the gathering, in implementation of the tasks defined in the plan of measures, drawn up for this purpose, informs the citizens that there will be blockages of some road segments, as well as partial blockages of some other segments, depending on the movement of the participants in rally

The road segments that will be blocked, starting from 15:00 on 12.11.2022, until the end of the rally, are:

"Dëshmorët e Kombit" boulevard, "Mother Teresa" square, "Ismail Qemali" street, from the intersection of Elbasani street with "Ibrahim Rugova" street, "Papa John Paul II" street, "Zhan D'Ark" boulevard and " Bajram Curri", from the intersection of Elbasani Street with "Ibrahim Rugova" Street.

The police ask for the understanding of the citizens to avoid moving with vehicles on these road axes, and to use alternative routes, in order not to create confusion and not to hinder the free movement of citizens" , the police explained.
