Naim Gjoshi, the composer behind the song "I got a word" said in an interview for Euronews Albania that it only took him an hour to create what has become the Albanian national anthem.

"In 1999, I was in Prekaz at the Jasharaj tower, there I saw the bombed tower, the Kreshnik portrait of Adem Jashari that reminds you of the epic of Muji and Halil, and I had an idea of ​​what I should do. It happened that in 2000 a singer from Drenica commissioned a song to be sung on the 3rd anniversary of Adem Jashari's death. Within an hour I made the song, the verses came to me immediately as if God gave it to me. I recorded it on a tape recorder and sent it to Skenderaj the next day. He realized it and put it on the market. After 1 year, Shkurte Fezja liked the song and decided to sing it together with a producer" , said Gjoshi.
