They were selling drugs, 25-year-old Albanian arrested with his Greek partner

Greek police have arrested a 25-year-old Albanian man and his partner, a 21-year-old Greek woman, on charges of illegal drug trafficking.

The arrest was made during a raid on their apartment, where officers suspected the presence of drugs after smelling a strong cannabis odor.

During the search, authorities seized 1 kilogram and 815 grams of cannabis, divided into 1,265 packages, ready for distribution.

According to police, the 25-year-old Albanian had previous convictions for similar offenses. The couple will now face drug trafficking charges before Greek authorities.
