The Association of Bar-Restaurants warns of the increase in the price of coffee:

The head of the Bar-Restaurant Association, Enri Jahaj, has warned of an increase in the price of coffee, due to the high costs the business is facing.

Invited to A2 CNN, Jahaj said that the salaries of employees in this sector have increased, and as a result there are even higher costs.

"The coffee has grown in the grass of the neighborhood, but it will grow again. Out of 10 people asked, 9 want to open a bar/restaurant. We don't have cultural centers. We have left the theaters, the cinemas. Offices are held today in the bar/cafe. People are closing their jobs at the bar. He is a customer who takes a virtual table, does not drive you around. He wants care, he even has complaints. This is not a potential client" , said Jahaj.

Asked how the current situation is presented, Jahaj said that there is a decrease in purchasing power, where the cost has played the main role.

"There is a contraction of purchasing power. First, the increase in costs has had an impact. Keeping the euro low is helping us. But at the moment eruo will go to his own standard. We no longer operate on minimum wage.

I heard about very good salaries in cities like Berat or Korça. In this regard, all our costs have increased, but we are continuing with the same prices" , added Jahaj.
