The owner of the cryptocurrency exchange point in Tirana is wanted

The owner of a currency exchange point in Tirana, where money was converted into cryptocurrencies and vice versa, has been announced as wanted by the police.

The business employee was processed in a free state within the coded operation "Crypto", developed by the capital's blues under the direction of the prosecution.

In total, around 200,000 euros were seized. The wanted person is RN, 48 years old, resident in Kosovo.

 " RN, administered an entity in which he employed the citizen RB. The clients of this entity exchanged money by putting it in virtual wallets and vice versa, undeclared to the competent bodies and which are not traced for their origin.

During the operation, 60,665 euros benefited from this illegal activity were seized, as well as two cryptocurrency accounts, worth 135,000 euros, 2 computers, 1 laptop, and a mobile phone," the police announced .
