The employee who was seriously injured after the autobot explosion at the gas station on the Tirana-Durres highway has died in the hospital.
The incident happened on Friday, at a gas station of "Gega Oil", after an autobot was engulfed in flames.
It is known that 35-year-old Elvis Prendi was injured by the fire, and as a result he died this morning in a hospital in Tirana.
The gas station attendant had only been married for a few months. The other gas station employee, the 20-year-old with the initials Xh.K, was also injured in the accident on Friday.
Therefore, it is suspected that the cause of the explosion could have been high temperatures, as well as an electric spark from a vehicle that was located nearby.
