The group of experts in Lushnje is investigating the causes of the powerful explosion where two people lost their lives, while 7 others were injured.

Experts have set up a second investigation track, as it is suspected that the explosion occurred during the welding of the silo.

The second line of investigation remains that the crane may have come into contact with the wires of the high voltage pole.

The construction permit received on September 19, 2023 is also included in the investigation. Verification is being done if the criteria have been applied.

Meanwhile, two criminal offenses have been found by the investigation group, the first is related to the canisters that were used for welding which were beyond any technical criteria and abuse of duty, which is related to the granting of permission for this warehouse under the high voltage line.
