The court hearing for Dritan Dajti is postponed

Dritan Dajti's court hearing has been postponed to July 30 at 9:00 a.m.

The session held today was accompanied by debates regarding the accused party and the representative of IEVP Peqin, the accusation that the convict Dajti and his lawyers have raised is that IEVP Peqin is hiding documents and is consciously creating reasons to delay and prolonged court hearings.

In the next session, the court asked the representative of IEVP Peqin to calculate the time of Dritan Dajti's sentence, but the latter stated that it was impossible since during his arrest in 2009 until 2024, the accused had a series of legal changes, from that of life imprisonment to the merging of sentences with 25 years of imprisonment.

The defense side addressed the representative of IEVP Peqin with what decision the convicted Dritan Dajti was kept in prison before the decision of the Supreme Court.

The representative of IEVP Peqin has stated that until now there has been no letter from the General Directorate of Prisons or the Ministry of Justice requesting the release of the convict Dajti from his cell.
