Democratic MP Dhurata Çupi has clashed with the representative of the Presidency, regarding the 3 million euros that the President has requested, according to her, to undo the cultural heritage.

Çupi addressed the representative of Begaj, saying that if the cultural heritage is not preserved, it does not deserve to be called the Presidency.

Çupi: This time, 3 million euros are requested from the President. There are 3 million euros that will undo a cultural heritage. The presidency was built in 1930, even Enver Hoxha did not transform that building. You said that you started the project of that building. With the 3 million euros you want to invest, the cultural heritage of that building is not preserved. How can be consumed and not change from the cultural heritage? Throwing 3 million euros and saying you will preserve the legacy does not exist. If that happens, you don't deserve to exist as a Presidency.

Representative of the Presidency: The cultural heritage will not be affected, all relevant permits have been obtained.
