There are images from the moment when the former mayor of Durrës, Vangjush Dako, left the prison cell today, after the decision of GJKKO, which assigned him the security measure of "house arrest".
Dako left the cell and after meeting with his relatives, he went to his apartment accompanied by police forces, where he will remain under "house arrest".
The Special Court issued a press release in which it was clarified that Dako asked the court to determine the end of the detention periods as a result of the personal security measure "arrest in prison" set for June 6, 2023.
Dako was accused of "Misuse of duty" in the procedure of granting a permit for the construction of a multi-story building and misuse of public funds in the procurement procedure for the construction of a promenade on the coast.
