The 19-year-old man from Tirana was sentenced for stealing the book

The journalist of Top Channel, Anila Hoxha brings to attention two stories that are as different as they are similar about how humanity is 'dying' in our country.

In a post on social networks, Hoxha recounts how a girl was sentenced by the court who drove an injured person to the hospital, although she did not have a driver's license, as well as the case of another young man who was also convicted of stealing a book .

"In our Albania, two true stories of two people! And how humanity dies in us!

I followed the trial against a young girl who, in order to save a citizen injured in a road accident, drove the car without a license as a witness at the scene and took the injured to the hospital. There the accused waited for the police and showed how she gave first aid. The police asked for the documents and then arrested him for driving without a license. For this accusation, the prosecutor's office, with lowered eyes, demanded the guilty declaration of the citizen, although he accepted her humane gesture.

At the end of the trial, I ask the judge: Your Honor, like this decision, have you given other verdicts of guilt that you would never have announced?

He answered: Yes. Eight years ago, I was held hostage by the case of a boy from Tirana. The police had arrested him for theft. They brought me defendants. When I read the file, I saw that he had stolen the book "Balloon Hunter".

I asked him: why did you steal it? He told me "I had no money, I had heard so much about this book that I wanted to read it." I stole it, but I was identified by the cameras. "

He was 19 years old. I didn't give prison for him, but I condemned him! ", said the journalist.
