The court of Lezha has sentenced Besnik Pjetrin (Perdeda), who is accused of killing his ex-father-in-law and ex-brother-in-law, to life imprisonment. The event took place in August 2022 in the village of Gryke Zeze in Lezhes.
Pjetri was found guilty of the criminal offense of murdering Pjetër Perajku and Gentian Perjaku and for carrying weapons without a permit.
He did not agree with the separation and constantly argued with his ex-father-in-law on this issue.
The author and his ex-wife had lived in Italy, after the divorce they had stayed in EU countries and had recently returned to Albania. The ex-wife had denounced him for violence in Italy, where he had served 2 years in prison.
