The Vlora court has sentenced Arjan Tasen, the policeman who killed 7-year-old Jonada Avdiaj with a speedboat, to 18 years in prison.
The serious incident happened on August 2 in Potami Beach. The minor was bathing in the sea when she was first hit by the front of the dinghy and then her body was cut by the propellers, dying on the spot.
The child, originally from Tropoja, lived with her family in England, but had returned to her homeland for vacation.
For this serious event, the entire management chain of the Border Police of Vlora, as well as the responsible inspectors, was dismissed, but the protesters were not satisfied with that. They demand the resignation of ministers Chuçi, Kumbaro and Nanos.
