Ymer Haxhiaj is the 27-year-old Albanian who raped and forced his 19-year-old girlfriend, Athina Marula, to drink pills to terminate the pregnancy.

Haxhiaj and Marula were related and had lived together for a period of time. Then, due to disagreements, Marula left for her parents' apartment.

After learning that his girlfriend was pregnant, Haxhiaj had asked her to have an abortion. He took the 19-year-old into the apartment, tied her up and, after raping her, forced her to drink pills for abortion.

Within a few minutes, the young woman lost her child, who according to the medical examiner was 6-8 weeks old.

Due to the uncontrolled failure, the bleeding was profuse, which forced the author to take the victim to the hospital. But even there, after taking the phone, Haxhiaj threatened the victim not to tell the doctors and the police.

Everything became clear after the intervention of doctors who reported the case to the police and the author was put in handcuffs.
