The Albanian cannabis cultivation network in Britain is revealed

An Albanian cultivation network was discovered by mistake by an energy company which went to collect unpaid electricity bills at a house in Oxford.

Foreign media reports that 3 people are on trial accused of being part of a ring to manufacture the Class B drug in Oxfordshire and Essex. Three separate addresses were identified as the cannabis factory, two residential properties in Oxford, and a large industrial unit in South Fambridge, Essex, called Shellfish Farm.

"A representative from the company attended the property and saw cannabis plants everywhere. The grow appeared to be very professional,"  the prosecutor said.

Albanians Dritan Meta, 43, Refik Skepi, 45, and Visar Elazaj, 38, are accused of producing a controlled drug from June 1, 2021 to August 18, 2022.
