The warehouse of the Neurology Hospital at the University Hospital Center has been engulfed in flames.
It is learned that the fire broke out on the -1 floor. The flames have been brought under control without endangering the lives of patients and medical staff, as announced by the QSUT itself.
"This evening, at around 9:45 PM, smoke was detected on the ground floor of the Neurology Hospital, without any danger to patients or staff.
Medical staff and technical teams have intervened to assess the situation and guarantee the normal continuation of service.
Currently, there is no risk to patients or staff in the hospital premises and work continues without any obstacles.
"The relevant authorities have been notified to carry out the necessary verifications and ensure that everything is within safe parameters," the announcement states.
