The fire in Noizy's bar, his cousin is arrested

A 26-year-old man, EM, who caused the fire in the bar of the rapper Rigels Rajku (Noizy) was put in handcuffs this Thursday.

According to the police, at the time of the arrest, a knife-cutting tool was found on the 26-year-old.

It is suspected that the first fire caused on June 11 of this year was caused by the 26-year-old, who was caught red-handed.

As a result of intensive investigative work for several cases of arson, carried out during the period 10.06.2023-29.06.2023, as well as in the context of continuous monitoring of the situation at the district level, with the aim of preventing and combating illegalities, the specialists of the Investigation Section of Crimes of the Durrës Police Station have organized and finalized the coded police operation "Repeater", in which EM citizen, 26 years old, was identified, caught and arrested in the act.

Due to the quick and professional actions of the police, the 26-year-old (family relation of the injured citizens) was caught red-handed this morning, after setting fire to a bar in the "Currilat" neighborhood, owned by a BR citizen.

Also, from the investigations, it is suspected that the same citizen set fire to the same bar, on 11.06.2023, as well as the door of the apartment of the mother of the owner of this bar, on 10.06.2023.

At the time of the arrest, a cutting tool (knife) was found and seized from the 26-year-old.

The investigative work continues for the full legal documentation of the circumstances of these cases.

The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction of Durrës, for further actions.
