The Central Election Commission announced today that 28 political entities have registered for the upcoming parliamentary elections expected to be held on February 9 in Kosovo. 

"Of these, 20 are political parties, five coalitions, two citizen lists and one independent candidate. Meanwhile, the total number of candidates for deputies representing these political entities is one thousand two hundred and eighty-eight candidates ," said the spokesperson of the Central Commission, Valmir Elezi.

"The Central Election Commission will conclude the verification process by December 25th at the latest. But we believe that starting next week, the CEC will be able to start certifying different groups of political entities, depending on the responses we receive from these institutions. Also, according to our activity plan, the drawing of lots for the ranking on the ballot is scheduled for the beginning of next year," said Elezi.

Also, six subjects are from the Serbian community.
