Lista Serbe, reacted after the failed referendum on the dismissal of the mayors in the four northern municipalities, through a statement on Facebook, said that they were ready to change the mayors, but did not want to become "part of the game of the regime in Pristina".

"We want to clearly reiterate that we were more than willing to participate in this process to look back and replace these fake mayors in our municipalities, but we did not want to play games directed by the regime in Pristina," the announcement states.

Furthermore, Lista Serbe says that "today showed what democracy looks like under Albin Kurti, with long guns, special forces and armored vehicles in the polling stations, cameras recording the voters", according to this party.

The President of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, has stated that the referendum failed due to pressure from Belgrade through the Serbian List.
