Florent Poroshtica, the manager of the group "Albkings", is sentenced

The Basic Court in Pristina has sentenced Florent Poroshtica, one of the defendants for the creation and management of the notorious "Albkings" group, to 21 months in prison and a 5,000 euro fine. Meanwhile, the case of Edin Nevzat, the group's former administrator, has been set aside, as he fled to Serbia and did not appear at the hearing.

The judge in the case, Adnan Kamberi, has announced that measures will be taken to bring Nevzat to justice. The hearing, scheduled for January 30, 2024, was postponed after Nevzat informed his lawyer at the last minute that he would not be present, and it was later determined that he had fled to a village in Serbia.

The “Albkings” group has been involved in the theft of identities and credentials of many individuals, including Anisa Veselin, the former resident of Big Brother VIP Kosova 3. The Prosecution has filed an indictment against FP, EN and ES, accused of identity theft, blackmail and extortion. The accused have reached a plea agreement with the Prosecution.

Edin Nevzati, arrested on April 17, 2024 for identity theft, was released from detention in October last year.
