Attacks in the north of Kosovo/ Foreign Minister responds to Borrell's statements: Shameful
Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Donika Gërvalla, said that Josep Borrell's statement about the situation in the north was a "shame".
Gërvalla says that in Borrel's reaction there was no message in support of the Kosovo police or against terrorists.
“Mr Borrell, really? Terrorists kill cops and you call "all actors"? No word of support for the police? Not even against terrorists? Did you also refer to the terrorist attacks in Spain as "hostile"? - wrote Gërvalla.
The High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Policy, Josep Borrell, said earlier that all the facts about today's attack in the north of Kosovo, where one Kosovo Police official was killed and two others were injured, must be proven.
"I condemn in the strongest possible terms the ugly attack by an armed gang against Kosovo policemen in Banjska/Banjska in the north of Kosovo, which left one policeman dead and two injured. All facts surrounding the attack must be proven. The perpetrators responsible must face justice. More innocent lives are at risk in the ongoing hostilities around Banjska Monastery. These attacks must be stopped immediately", he wrote in "X".
