A Serbian citizen has been arrested by the Kosovo authorities in Bistrica.

This person is suspected of being involved in the attack on KFOR members in May 2023 in Zveçan.

The case was announced by the deputy director of the police for the northern region, Veton Elshani.

" Tonight (Wednesday) around 19:15 at the checkpoint in Bistrica, a LD person who was wanted in connection with the case of May 29, 2023, where 93 KFOR officials were injured, was detained ," said Elshani.

We recall that more than 100 KFOR soldiers suffered bodily injuries from the attack of Serbian protestors last year who were opposing the placement of elected Albanian leaders in municipal facilities.
