Recently, the government has decided to extend the towers beyond Tirana, opening a project in Shkodër. The project of the architectural studio "Selgascano Architects" from Madrid has been announced as the winner of the international competition for the so-called "new Rozafa", working on three views, Shkodra Lake, the Albanian Alps and the Buna and Drin Rivers.

A high tower with luxury apartments and hotels that is added to Shkodra to make it 'sister' to Tirana. However, the project for the tower has not passed in silence. The citizens of Shkodra have burst into comments against Rama, directly accusing him of transforming Shkodra in the same way as Tirana, so the concreting mission continues.

On Facebook, commentators have flooded criticizing the government for not consulting the citizens. Also, commentators state that the towers are being built with only one purpose: to launder money.
