Franck Ribery will retire from football, the official announcement is expected

Franck Ribery has decided to retire from football. In Italy, they inform that the 39-year-old has decided to say "stop" after the injury suffered at the end of the last season. The Frenchman played with Salernitana in Serie A, while he is currently part of the team. The departure is expected to be officially confirmed, with team-mates applauding the winger in today's training session.

It seems that the Frenchman has found an agreement with the Serie A club to be in the team's technical staff, not ruling out the possibility of taking the main position, that of coach, in the future. With a contract until the summer of 2023, Ribery seems to be forever connected to football.

Out of the ages of Boulogne, Ribery stood out at Olympique Marseille, to move in 2007 to Bayern Munich in Germany. The striker stayed in Bavaria for 12 years, where he won everything possible. The hostage for the striker could be the missing Ballon d'Or trophy in 2014, with the player who shone that season.
