Cancer activist, blogger, presenter and former teacher, Dame Deborah James, has passed away at the age of 40. James was being treated for bowel cancer and had raised millions for cancer research. The BBC presenter, a mother of two, was diagnosed with bowel cancer in 2016. Her family announced her death through a post on her Instagram page. She passed away quietly surrounded by family.
