The former chairman of the 'Serbian List', now a member of the Parliament of Serbia, Goran Rakic, was brutally beaten last night by some people who are suspected to be from 'Civilna Zastita'.

According to KosovaPress sources, the incident happened last night after midnight in front of the entrance to his apartment in the north of Mitrovica, where it is suspected that people were waiting for him.

"One of these attackers is Goran Vucenic, the brother of Vladan Vucenic, who are known as members of Civilna Zastita, while the latter is also accused of participating in the terrorist group of Banjska", the sources said, adding that everything is connected with a dispute about money between Milan Radojčić and Rakić.

The sources further continue that immediately after the incident, Rakic ​​was taken to the hospital where he received the necessary treatment and is now released and is in his apartment.

"The case has not been reported to the police and it is being tried to be kept secret", said these sources, adding that after the interest of the investigators from the Kosovo Police in the case, the hospital staff was forced to record the case and it already appears in the book hospital.
