The Serbs withdrew from the institutions, Borrell: Come back! The parties are

The High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Policy, Josep Borrell, has reacted on the recent developments in Kosovo and Serbia. He has informed that he talked with the Prime Minister of Kosovo Albin Kurti and the Serbian President Aleksandër Vuçië, after the decision of the Serbs to abandon the institutions of Kosovo.

Borrell said that recent developments put years of hard work in the framework of the Kosovo-Serbia dialogue at risk.

"I call on both sides to refrain from any unilateral actions that could lead to further tensions. The latest developments in the relations between Kosovo and Serbia put at risk the years of hard work and achievements achieved within the EU-mediated dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina and hinder the security situation in the region and beyond," he wrote . he in a tweet.

He said that the withdrawal of Serbs from Kosovo's institutions is not a solution to the current disputes, as according to him, this action has the potential to further escalate tensions on the ground.

Borrell asked Kosovo to immediately extend the process of re-registration of vehicles, thereby suspending the decision to combine vehicles with Serbian license plates.
