The SP deputy is in favor of Dako's arrest: Equal law for all
Socialist Party MP Lavdrim Krashi said that the law should be equal for everyone.
Referring here to the arrest of Vangjush Dako, with this argument, Krashi said in an interview for Euronews Albania that he supported his imprisonment.
" It is very important that the force of law does not avoid anyone, whoever they are. The law is equal for everyone, regardless of your position, political party or group you belong to and regardless of economic strength. I want to make two parenthesis that are very important.
First of all, the presumption of innocence for anyone until declared guilty by the court is very important, and secondly, what is more important for the case in question, because the gentleman was the mayor of Durrës, a very important municipality in Albania. perhaps the second in terms of importance after Tirana, but the first in terms of economic strength and geographical position. In this sense, I think that the new justice system is finally sending positive signals ," Krashi said.
