We recall that four days ago, the Special Appeal left the measure of house arrest unchanged for Vangjush Dako. SPAK requested the return of the former mayor of Durrës to his cell, while the court released him after the terms of detention ended.
He was arrested last June on charges of abuse of office. Dako was released from the cell in February with the argument that the terms of detention for him have ended. Dako is accused of "Misuse of duty" in the procedure of granting a building permit and misuse of public funds for the construction of a promenade on the coast.
