Spiropali proposes naming two Assembly halls after Bashkim Fino and Gerti Bogdani

The Speaker of the Assembly, Elisa Spiropali, proposed today, at today's meeting of the Conference of Speakers, the naming of two halls of the Assembly with the names Bashkim Fino and Gerti Bogdani.
Former Prime Minister of Albania, Bashkim Fino, passed away in March 2021, while Gerti Bogdani died on September 18 of this year.
"I would like to inform you that I have decided that in order to honor the name and political, social and parliamentary contribution of two distinguished personalities, separated from life, to name two meeting rooms in the premises of the Assembly session hall building, one after Bashkim Fino and the other after Gerti Bogdani.
Bashkim Fino, former Prime Minister of Albania, former minister and member of Parliament for 6 legislatures, passed away in office as a member of Parliament.
Meanwhile, Gerti Bogdani, a member of the Assembly for two terms, passed away at a young age.
"I believe I have your support and that of the members of Parliament," said Spiropali.
