Berisha calls for protests: Teaching branches are closing, I invite you to stand up to protect the future

The head of the DP, Sali Berisha, has called for protests today at the start of the new academic year.

In a statement to the media, Berisha says that the fact that the teaching branches are heading towards closure is alarming.

According to Berisha, higher education, this year is a call where the situation in which it has fallen, is a strong call in the first place for the young people of the universities to stand up strongly in protests.

Berisha : The situation for the preparation of future teachers can be assessed as catastrophic.

Total failure of the government's efforts through payments for the engagement of young people in the branches of teaching.

It was unprecedented in the history of Europe and the world, that these branches, in Tirana, mathematics, physics, chemistry, have been left with less than 10 students for teachers. De facto they are closed, at a time when a few years ago, they were one of the most favorite branches in the country.

There was no need for other incentives. There was one incentive: doubling teachers' salaries.

He made teaching majors his favorite majors. Even overloaded.

This government's attitude towards teachers has drained them of students, bankrupted them and they are closing.

What is happening is a massive destruction of the most beautiful dreams of young Albanians, on which the future and the Albania of tomorrow must be built.

I guarantee the students that the PD in its program will give the most excellent answer to all these issues, but invites them to take their destiny in their hands, to stand up courageously against a government that is contemptuous, contemptuous of them and their future.
