Democratic Party leader Sali Berisha said that the Speaker of Parliament interrupted MP Ina Zhupa "only because she addressed the minister with the epithet that the whole of Albania addresses her."

He continued by telling Spiropali that if someone addresses him with the word "thief" without supporting documents, they can sue for defamation.

Berisha: Ladies and gentlemen, I cannot help but denounce the brutality with which the speaker interrupts the deputy and protests the mere fact that she addresses her with the epithet that the whole of Albania addresses.
If someone here in parliament calls you a thief, without being based on official documents, you have the right to sue them for defamation.
But if a public trial of thieves is held here on the basis of documents, it has been done, will be done, will be done and will be done.
