Kelliçi: Duman's spectacular failure with the recent arrest warrants

The member of the leadership of the DP, Belind Kelliçi, has stated that the head of SPAK, Altin Dumani, has failed with the arrest warrants issued in the framework of the investigations for the Tirana incinerator.

Invited to "Kafe Shqeto", Kelliçi said that several arrest warrants have been issued, but no one has been arrested.

"They waited for one to flee from Albania, because there was one in Albania, and then SPAK issued arrest warrants, so that they all fled. It is perhaps the most spectacular failure ever of any prosecution, than there was in this case Altin Dumani, personally he and SPAK.

Dumani appears in the media and talks about the successes and achievements of the prosecution.

They addressed him personally, with thousands of pages of documents, facts, evidence in relation to the structured criminal group at the Tirana incinerator and '5D'.

I say personally, because he is also aware and it is not that this case has escaped the attention of the head of the Special Prosecutor's Office.

Three weeks ago, the news came out that 22 prohibition measures were being issued for the Tirana incinerator, where it was hinted that Erion Veliaj and his close group were also inside. And mistakes were expected to happen. Suddenly, the next day SPAK did not deny the measures, but said there was no information.

Judge Irena Gjoka did not sign the arrest warrants and to make a negotiation with her and to pay off a debt with Erion Veliaj, to pass the vetting and today we are in the situation, where I don't know, because of Irena or SPAK, but today we are dealing with a spectacular failure of reform in justice, law-enforcement bodies and SPAK in particular.

As SPAK, you issue 8 measures and it is enough to enter the TIMS system and see that you do not have any in Albania, this is a mockery of the public opinion", said Këlliçi.
