DP: For 12 years, Albania has been drowned only by corruption
The Regional Coordinator for Tirana at the Democratic Party, Klevis Balliu, has made a statement to the media on the occasion of the International Anti-Corruption Day, which is marked on December 9th.
During his statement, Balliu recalled the 12-year corruption affairs of Rama's government, starting with incinerators, the Port of Durres, etc.
He emphasized that the DP guarantees Albanians an uncompromising fight against corruption upon coming to power.
Full statement:
Today is December 9, the international day of the fight against corruption, but unfortunately for our country, for 12 years we have only had corruption.
For 12 years, from the incinerator affairs, to the Port of Durres and the Vlora TECs, Albania has been drowned only by corruption. The fundamental reason for this crime that has been committed during these 12 years is the person who stands in this building, Edi Rama, as the promoter and architect of every corrupt affair in Albania.
Unfortunately for us as a nation, the institutions that should be fighting corruption have become part of these corrupt activities that have impoverished citizens.
Precisely, in this building, the man who leads the country today declares that there is no money for pensioners, that there is no money for citizens, there is no money for Albania.
But in the meantime, terrible corrupt deals are being made in this building, such as 4 million euros for a balcony, up to 80 thousand euros per day for incinerators that do not exist and 80 thousand euros per day for TPPs that do not function.
All these corrupt affairs have a name, and that name is Edi Rama.
Today, December 9, on the International Anti-Corruption Day, the Democratic Party guarantees citizens that upon coming to power, we will return to an uncompromising battle with every corrupt affair and with every person who has put money into the pockets of citizens.
