The Secretary General of the Freedom Party, Tedi Blushi, has accused athlete Luiza Gega of violating the law by participating in yesterday's protest in favor of Mayor Erion Veliaj.

Blushi points out that the "Law on Military Discipline", which strictly prohibits her from engaging in political gatherings and publicly supporting a party member.

Blushi :  Colonel Luiza Gega, with her participation and public stance in the protest organized in support of the Chief Thief of Tirana, Erion Veliaj, against whom a prison sentence has been imposed, has openly violated the "Law on Military Discipline", which strictly prohibits her from engaging in political gatherings and in public support of a party member.

For every soldier, the law is clear! The General Staff of the Armed Forces must respect the law and react to this scandalous and universally consumed illegality! Sports champions are free to support any party, even to sleep under the window of Erion Veliaj's cell and cheer for his mega-thefts, but they can no longer be part of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Albania.

It is clear that Colonel Luiza Gega has made her choice and for her, the oath at Erion Veliaj's office is more sacred and much more important than the oath to the National Flag, washed with the blood of martyrs and patriotic soldiers.
