Democratic MP Albana Vokshi is in the USA where she held a working meeting with congressmen Pete Sessions and Keith Self.

In a post on Facebook, Vokshi shared some photos with the congressmen, as she also explained the discussions with them and her colleagues.

Vokshi writes that together with the congressmen they discussed the pre-election situation in Albania, corruption and organized crime, as well as the situation in the region, mainly the attacks in the north of Kosovo.

The first day began with a working breakfast on Capitol Hill with Congressman Pete Sessions and Congressman Keith Self.

Together with his colleague Fatmir Mediu, Mr. Zotaj and Mr. Muzhaqi, we discussed the pre-election situation in Albania, the influence of organized crime and corruption and the use by the government for power purposes.
