Accused of tender abuse, Lefter Alla seeks freedom in the Supreme Court

The former mayor of Bulqiza, Lefter Alla, has submitted an appeal to the Supreme Court. 

Accused of "violation of equality in tenders" and "abuse of duty", Alla requests the change of the measure of "imprisonment" to a milder measure of security.

The former mayor was arrested on March 15, 2023, together with 12 other people, 7 of them municipal officials, for violation of equality in tenders and abuse of office over suspicions of abuse in a tender worth 3 million euros.
